Twozies Season 1 Surprise Pack Collector Guide: Match the Baby and Pet

Twozies turns a tiny blind pack into a matching game. Rather than hiding one figure in a disposable wrapper, Moose Toys put two characters in each Season 1 Surprise Pack: one baby and one animal pet. The fun is that the two pieces in a pack are not promised to be each other’s match. Opening the box begins a longer hunt to reunite every baby with the pet designed to accompany it.

What is actually inside the Season 1 pack?

The photographed package identifies itself as Season 1 and says there are “2 Surprise Twozies Inside.” Its back panel is more specific: the contents are one baby, one pet, one small shadow box, one pattern card, and one collector’s guide. Entertainment Earth’s archived product information describes the same assortment and places the complete season at 140 babies and pets.

That makes this a genuine mystery product, but not a single-figure blind bag. You receive two small collectibles plus a display component. The shadow box is an important part of the design: it gives the baby and pet a scene-style home, while multiple boxes can be arranged together for a larger display. The package front calls the activity “Find + Match Baby + Pet Friends,” which is the clearest summary of the collecting goal.

Why the matching mechanic matters

Season 1 divided its cast into seven themed teams: Two Adventurous, Two Cheeky, Two Cool, Two Noisy, Two Precious, Two Sweet, and Two Wild. Those groups give the checklist more structure than a flat run of names. A collector can sort loose figures by team, look for a specific counterpart, or build matched baby-and-pet pairs before attempting the full season.

The format also creates two different completion questions. A figure may fill an empty spot on the collector’s guide even if its intended partner is still missing, and an opened pack can produce two useful additions without yielding an instant pair. For secondhand collectors, that makes the included guide and pattern card especially useful; they help preserve the identity and original presentation of pieces that are easy to separate.

Where this pack fits in Twozies history

Season 1 was the launch assortment for the line and appeared in late 2016. The Toy Insider documented Moose Toys’ Two Playful Cafe playset in September 2016, showing how the same baby-and-pet idea expanded beyond the small packs into themed play and display sets. The first season also included larger six- and ten-figure formats, but this two-piece Surprise Pack was the smallest entry point.

The back of this package carries product number 57001 and UPC 630996570012. Those identifiers are useful when comparing sealed examples because later Twozies seasons reused the Surprise Pack concept with different package art. The pink-and-purple container shown here has the Season 1 mark printed vertically on the front edge.

What to check on a sealed example

For package collectors, inspect more than the front label. The BlindBoxes photographs show clear wrapping around the container, with folded or wrinkled seams visible at the edges. Light shelf rubbing on the pink rim is possible even when the contents remain unopened. Check that the purple lid is seated, the clear wrap has not been cut, and the front Season 1 label is present. A pristine wrapper will matter more to a sealed-package collector; an opener may reasonably care more about an intact shadow box, pattern card, and guide.

The package is marked for ages 5 and up and warns about small parts and a small ball. No pull odds or rarity tiers are printed on the photographed exterior, and the researched product descriptions focus on matching the 140-character cast rather than on a designated chase figure. Collect this one for its pairing puzzle, team checklist, and compact interlocking display—not for unsupported rarity claims.
