Kidrobot’s Justice League Vinyl Keychain Series compresses a surprisingly deep DC roster into 1.5-inch Dunny figures. Each blind box contains one vinyl character fitted with a lobster clasp and detachable ring, so this is both a miniature Dunny assortment and a functional bag-or-key accessory. It was marketed around the period of the 2017 Justice League movie, but the printed character grid makes an important distinction: this is not simply the film’s six-hero cast in miniature.
A comic-book League beyond the movie team
The assortment contains 14 designs. The familiar anchors are Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Cyborg and Aquaman. The second half reaches much further into DC’s comic-book bench: Classic Batman, Blue Beetle, Animal Man, Booster Gold, Zatanna, Green Arrow and Green Lantern Guy Gardner.
That breadth is the set’s real personality. Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner provide two very different Green Lantern pulls, while the standard Batman and blue-cowled Classic Batman make a compact costume-era comparison. Booster Gold, Animal Man and Zatanna also keep the series from feeling like another basic big-seven checklist. DC’s own Justice League history emphasizes that the team has changed lineups repeatedly; the box reflects that broader tradition more than a literal movie roster.

The package photographs show a full probability table, and the 14 ratios add up exactly to one complete assortment:

Zatanna and Guy Gardner are the clear collector-described chasers: each is printed at 1/48, half as frequent as a 1/24 design and one-sixth as frequent as a 3/24 headliner. Kidrobot does not label either one as an official capital-C “Chase” on the photographed panels, so the more precise description is short-packed or chase-level. Their artwork is disclosed on the box; that does not make the 1/48 odds any less rare.
The ratios also reveal what buying blind can—and cannot—promise. Four boxes could easily repeat a 3/24 hero, while neither 1/48 design is guaranteed across any arbitrary group of 24 blind pulls. Collectors targeting Zatanna or Guy Gardner should compare the cost of sealed pulls with an authenticated opened figure rather than assuming that 24 blind pulls will complete the grid.
What to inspect on an older sealed box
The product photos show the black, star-field Justice League package with the character grids split across two sides. The photographed example has a closed top flap and remains structurally intact, with minor corner and edge wear visible under close inspection; shrink wrap or a tamper seal is not clearly shown in the photographs. For a box kept as packaging memorabilia, check the flap for lifting, the dark panels for scuffs, and the corners for whitening or compression.
If the goal is an everyday keychain, remember that the figure is only 1.5 inches tall and the hardware includes both a lobster clasp and detachable ring. On a loose example, inspect the clasp spring, ring separation and the paint around the Dunny ears and raised costume details. Those contact points matter more than a pristine carton once the piece has actually traveled on a backpack or set of keys.
Who this series suits
This is strongest for collectors who like the Dunny silhouette but want recognizable character design, or DC fans who appreciate a roster that moves beyond the theatrical lineup. A single sealed box offers a true mystery pull; a full character hunt is a much larger odds project. At the current product price of $5.99, it can also be a low-cost way to sample an older licensed Kidrobot format without committing to a larger display figure.
